MSSQL Installation Package

A production-ready SQL Server environment – installed, configured and validated after the migration.

What's included

  • Planning and preparation of installation and configuration

  • Encrypted communication (TLS) including certificate setup
  • Support during the database migration, incl. coordination with the application partner
  • Validation of the environment after the migration

What's not included

  • Operating system, Active Directory and network (customer prerequisites)
  • License procurement (guidance on choosing the right license included)
  • Clustering and high availability (quoted separately)

MSSQL Health Check

Audit of configuration, performance and backup strategy – with a clear, written result.

What's included

  • Analysis of server and database configuration
  • Performance analysis: indexes, queries, wait statistics
  • Review of backup strategy and restore capability
  • Written report with prioritized actions
  • Closing session to walk through the results

What's not included

  • Implementation of the recommended actions (available separately)
  • Ongoing operations and monitoring (see Managed MSSQL)

Security Baseline Check for SMEs

Assessment of the most important security areas of your SME – presented as an easy-to-read traffic-light report.

What's included

  • Assessment of network, Active Directory and permissions
  • Review of backups, MFA and patch status
  • Traffic-light report (green/yellow/red) per area
  • Prioritized action plan
  • Closing session to walk through the results

What's not included

  • Penetration test or technical attack simulation

Managed MSSQL Express (Germany)

The affordable entry point: SQL Server 2025 Express as a Docker container at a German hosting provider – operated and monitored for a small flat fee.

What's included

  • SQL Server 2025 Express – up to 50 GB per database, no licence costs
  • Operated as a Docker container at a German hosting provider (EU data residency, with a data processing agreement)
  • Automated backups and integrity checks
  • Continuous monitoring
  • Support by e-mail, response by the next business day

What's not included

  • Performance beyond the Express limits (max. 4 cores, approx. 1.4 GB database cache) – that is what Managed MSSQL in the Swiss cloud is for
  • Application support for business applications
  • One-off migration or tuning projects (quoted separately)

Managed MSSQL (Swiss Cloud)

We operate and monitor your MSSQL environment in the Swiss cloud – the management for a predictable monthly flat fee, licence and infrastructure separate.

What's included

  • Management and operation of your MSSQL instance in the Swiss cloud (with MySwissCloud)
  • Continuous monitoring
  • Backups including regular restore tests
  • Guidance on choosing the right SQL Server licence
  • A dedicated, personal point of contact

What's not included

  • SQL Server licence and cloud infrastructure (VM) – provided by you or billed separately

Patch Management & Monitoring

Automated patching and continuous monitoring for Windows and Linux – up to 500 systems.

  • Automated, scheduled patching for Windows and Linux, incl. reboots
  • Continuous monitoring and inventory of your systems
  • Up to 500 connected systems
  • Support for questions about the patching platform

What's not included

  • Incidents caused outside the platform (e.g. hardware or network failures)
  • Individual extensions (quoted separately)

Patch Management & Monitoring – Dedicated Instance

A dedicated platform instance for your company – for any number of systems.

What's included

  • Dedicated, single-tenant platform instance – no shared operation
  • Automated, scheduled patching for Windows and Linux, incl. reboots
  • Continuous monitoring and inventory of your systems
  • Any number of systems, limited only technically

What's not included

  • Individual extensions (quoted separately)

Open Source Starter Package

A turnkey open-source solution – including your own VM, hosting in Germany and ongoing operation by us.

What's included

  • Your own VM with a dedicated IP address and 2.5 Gbit/s connection, hosted in Germany
  • Setup of an open-source solution, e.g. Nextcloud, Paperless, BookStack or Nginx Proxy Manager (incl. certificates)
  • Individual adaptations and extensions of the software – e.g. Zeitwerk, our Nextcloud-certified fork of Worktime
  • Ongoing operation and management by us – for any number of users, limited only technically
  • Documentation and a short introduction for your team

What's not included

  • Custom development beyond the defined scope (quoted separately)
